Role: Founder & Mobilizer

Formed a youth group in my village to address local socio-economic issues. Organized campaigns on education, gender equality, sanitation, and environmental protection. Empowered village youth to take part in community decision-making. Conducted street plays, awareness drives, and school rallies.

1. Environmental Leadership at the Grassroots

  • Organized tree plantation drives in schools and public lands
  • Promoted water conservation and cleanliness in villages
  • Collaborated with teachers to establish eco-clubs and student-led climate campaigns

2. Community Education & Awareness

  • Conducted door-to-door campaigns promoting girl child education
  • Set up evening learning sessions for dropouts and mid and old age farmers
  • Supported school teachers in building bridges with parents and local leaders

3. Menstrual and Women’s Health Advocacy

  • Held interactive sessions in schools to dismantle taboos around menstruation
  • Partnered with local ASHA and Anganwadi workers to promote dignity kits and hygiene education
  • Encouraged adolescent girls to continue education without stigma
